OEM saw blade projects are not only about printing a logo. Good private label work connects product specification, packaging structure, safety information, barcode control and export carton planning so the buyer can sell repeatably without rechecking every detail.
OEM packaging starts with the sales channel
A distributor selling to workshops may need simple durable labels and strong cartons. A retail brand may need full color boxes, barcodes, multilingual warnings and shelf-ready packaging. Online sellers may care more about photo consistency, compact parcel size and protection against bent teeth.
Private label options for saw blades
| Option | Best for | Key details to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Laser marking on blade body | Industrial and professional blades | Logo, rotation arrow, diameter, bore, RPM, material application |
| Printed paper sleeve | Economical wholesale range | Size grid, warning icons, barcode, paper thickness |
| Color box | Retail and brand display | Box size, hook hole, coating, printing proof, carton quantity |
| Blister or clamshell | High-visibility retail shelf | Plastic thickness, seal strength, insert card design |
Do not finalize artwork before specification is locked
The most common OEM mistake is designing attractive packaging before the blade specification is stable. If the tooth count, kerf, bore or application changes later, labels and cartons must be remade. Wryno normally locks the technical specification first, then confirms packaging text.
Specification fields that should appear on the package
| Field | Why it matters | Example wording |
|---|---|---|
| Diameter and bore | Machine fit | 250mm x 30mm bore |
| Tooth count and geometry | Cutting result expectation | 80T TCG for aluminum profile |
| Kerf and plate thickness | Loss and stability | 2.8mm kerf / 2.2mm plate |
| Application | Avoid wrong use | For aluminum, non-ferrous metal, wood or steel tube |
| Maximum RPM and safety | Compliance and user protection | Max RPM + PPE warnings |
Packaging structure and export carton planning
Packaging should protect teeth, prevent corrosion and keep cartons manageable for shipping. Heavy large-diameter blades may need extra edge protection and stronger cartons. Small retail blades may require consistent carton quantity for warehouse scanning.
Barcode, language and market compliance
Importers should provide barcode ownership rules, target market language, importer address requirements and any CE/ISO or local retail requirements. If the package will enter Amazon, supermarket or hardware chain channels, barcode and warning layout should be checked early.
Sample approval workflow
- Confirm blade specification and target application.
- Prepare label, box or sleeve dieline and artwork.
- Check all technical fields against the blade drawing.
- Produce sample packaging with sample blade.
- Confirm photos, barcode scan and carton packing before mass production.
