Saw Blade Quotation Checklist: Diameter, Bore, Kerf, Teeth and Grade

Many saw blade quotation delays come from missing details: diameter, bore, pin holes, kerf, tooth count, material, machine model or target cutting result. This checklist helps importers and factory buyers send enough information for a fast, accurate quotation.

Minimum details for a useful quotation

Information Example Why it matters
Blade diameter 250mm, 355mm, 500mm Matches machine guard and cutting capacity
Bore and pin holes 30mm bore, 2/7/42 pins Ensures machine fit
Kerf and plate thickness 3.2mm kerf / 2.2mm plate Controls material loss and stability
Tooth count and geometry 80T TCG Affects finish, speed and burr
Workpiece Aluminum extrusion or steel tube Determines material grade and tooth design

Application details are more important than a photo

A blade photo helps, but application decides the specification. Tell the supplier what you cut, how thick it is, what machine is used and which problem you want to solve.

Quality grade and commercial target

Not every order needs the highest grade. Share whether the target is retail price, long blade life, clean finish, low kerf loss, fast delivery or private label packaging.

Packaging and branding

For OEM/private label orders, provide logo file, color preference, label size, individual box requirements, carton quantity and whether neutral packing is acceptable for first samples.

Sample and repeat order logic

For new products, first sample confirmation should verify machine fit, cutting result and packaging before large production. Repeat orders can then lock the specification and QC standard.
